| *2009 SIWA Bazaar |

| Jan / 2010 |
On November 17th, 2009 the Seoul International Women Association (SIWA) held their annual Siwa Bazaar at the Grand Hilton Hotel in Seoul. The Siwa Bazaar hosted many international countries and gave them a chance to introduce their culture, food and traditional pieces to those who were interested.
The event was set up in two main halls situated on the first floor of the convention center. One hall was transformed into a food court, which was highly appreciated by every hungry attendee. Everybody could try country specific foods there for a minor fee. The second hall- just opposite of the food court- provided the space for the exhibition booths of those items the participating countries wanted to display, introduce and sell.
The whole event was accompanied with lucky draws and price give away¡¯s for those who were brave enough to invest some money in a ticket.

EKF participated at the 31st edition of the Bazaar with two tables. To our right the Seoul Global Center had arranged their booth, whilst to our left the Korea house was gathering the attention of the visitors.
EKF sold products at one table generously donated by Tefal and Lego as well as Sumir Wine.
The donated toys and Household hardware were almost completely sold out by the end of the day at 4pm and made the day turn into a complete success for EKF and its participation at the SIWA Bazaar.

The other table was given to two women from the single mom¡¯s shelter (Ae Ran Won).
One participating single mom sold pieces of handmade, organic soaps, face cleansers and peelings, essences, lip balm and skin balm. The second single mom sold handmade hair bands and hair accessories.
The products of both single moms¡¯ gained popularity by the hour. Which led to them going home with a smile on their faces, as all of the proceedings directly went to help them support their life¡¯s and their children¡¯s life¡¯s.
The money earned by the EKF team will also be donated to a special cause in order to help those who need it the most.
EKF would like to thank the product sponsors as well as the women from the Ae Ran Won Shelter who made this event a successful one.
